Lead Planner

TES 2000 are currently looking for an experienced Lead Planner for our Doncaster office on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Lead Planner, you will have an in depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations and have knowledge of Possession Requirements. You will be instrumental in ensuring the continued safety of all TES 2000 staff and subsequent contracted staff.

The ideal Lead Planner will (Essential): 

• Be experienced within the rail industry with in-depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations.
• Possess the following competencies; PTS, COSS/IWA, SSOW Planner (Desirable (S)PICOP)
• Excellent Communication, organisation and leadership skills
• Approach with a ‘can do’ attitude whilst being able to multitask and work at pace.
• Be located in or around Doncaster, North East with good geographical knowledge of the LNE Route.
  

The Lead Planners’ typical day will include:

• Oversee planning of Safe System of Work (SSOW) packs
• Monitor contracted hours and most effective use of workers hours of planners 
• Attend and chair planning meetings as required
• Manage the effective communications to Planning department
• Maintain close working relationships with clients
• Actively pursue new clients and aim to expand the delivery
• Manage planners to ensure effective performance to achieve SSOW plan
