About The Opportunity

Are you a motivated IT Support Specialist with experience of providing 2nd and 3rd line support?

 

TES 2000 has a rare, exciting position for an experienced IT Support Specialist to use your skill set to make this role your own. This is a stand-alone IT support role, based in Colchester on a full-time, permanent basis within a hybrid model.

The ideal candidate will provide essential support in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, ensuring seamless operations across on-site and remote issues.

This role is stand-alone within TES, and crucial for assisting our workforce with technical issues and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT function.

About You

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years in IT support, with previous roles in 2nd or 3rd line support with the ability to deal with complex issues.
  • Systems experience: Azure Cloud, Windows Operating Systems, MDM Systems, VOIP and Microsoft 365 Suite including Dynamics 365 (Desirable Veeam Backup)
  • Compliance: An understanding of Cyber Essentials Certification licensing requirements, GDPR adherence, 
  • Ability to build internal relationships and being flexible to the demands of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide helpdesk support, IT security, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support via email/phone for on-site and remote offices and collaborate with 3rd party tech support as needed.
  • Configure new laptops/desktops and manage Azure backups.
  • Manage mobile devices and printers and use software like Papercut.
  • Generate weekly reports on tickets raised, closed, and open.
  • Maintain an asset register and ensure records are updated.
  • Manage DNS records.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes and interfaces using technology.
