TES 2000 are currently looking for an experienced Delivery Manager for our Doncaster office on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Delivery Manager, you will have an in depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations and have strong proven experience with rostering and team management.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the continued safety of all TES 2000 staff and subsequent contracted staff.

About You

The ideal Delivery Manager will (Essential): 

  • Be experienced within the rail industry with in-depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations.
  • Possess the following competencies; PTS, COSS/IWA (Desirable (S)PICOP)
  • Have strong experience within Possession Management along with rostering from T5.
  • Be a strong Team Leader, with proven experience of managing teams with great success.
  • Approach with a ‘can do’ attitude whilst being able to multitask and work at pace.
  • Be located in or around Doncaster, North East with good geographical knowledge.
  • Have experience with On-Call duties.

The Delivery Managers’ typical day will include: 

  • Ensuring adequate resources are available to deliver the contract requirements.
  • Compiling rosters 4 weeks ahead ensuring contracted hours and effective use of manpower
  • Acting as a Responsible Manager to the planner and be accountable for the preparation of safe system of work; how the work is planned and delivered.
  • Authorising Safe system of Work packs to the standards of NR/L2/OHS/019
  • Undertaking monthly site audits and T(iii) checks
  • Conducting pre-possession checks and briefings
  • Conducting monthly safety briefings
  • Monitoring staff competency and training requirements in partnership with training staff
  • Monitoring staff working hours to ensure WTD and Hidden regulations complied with
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of equipment are maintained to required levels.
  • Arranging for mentoring of staff following training
  • Contributing to the development of contingency plans
  • Assisting in the management and development of the staff
  • Assisting in the completion of performance reviews
