About The Opportunity

Are you experienced within Possession Management with strong Management experience?
 
TES 2000 has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established rail safety company as an Assistant Delivery Manager within our brand new Possession Management Department in Sussex.
 
As our Assistant Delivery Manager you will lead a newly established team or rail professionals, to ensure roster deadlines are managed in line with requirements associated with the new contract for the Sussex region. This role is integral to the success of our new contract with Network Rail. Please note, prior experience within Possession Management frameworks is essential.

About You

The ideal Assistant Delivery Manager will:
  • Hold the following competencies: SSOWP
    • Desirable competencies: PTS/COSS/IWA/PS
  • Have in depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations
  • In depth knowledge of possession requirements/frameworks
  • Be adept at influencing through various forms of communication including report writing
  • Be experienced with managing people and development of the workforce
  • Understand risk management
  • Have strong problem solving and decision making skills
The Assistant Delivery Managers typical day will include: 
  • Ensuring adequate resources are available to deliver the contract requirements
  • Compile 4 weekly rosters / monitor contracted hours and ensure effective use of manpower
  • Authorise Safe system of Work packs to the standards of NR/L2/OHS/019
  • Conduct site audits and T(iii) checks (monthly)
  • Conduct pre-possession checks and briefings
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Conduct safety briefings (monthly)
  • Monitor staff competency and training requirements
  • Contribute to risk assessments
  • Arrange for mentoring of staff following training
